Diagnosis fuente:
     Pileus 5-18 mm, conical-campanulate, then convex-umbonate, slightly expanding, smooth, hygrophanous, brown, on drying honey-brown with slight grey hue, indistinctly striate at margin when moist, soon non-striate. Lamellae narrowly adnate, nearly free, ventricose, up to 4mm broad, not crowded (L = 25—30, |= 1-3), vellowish brown, then rust-brown, with paler margin. Stipe 25-52 x 1-2 mm, attenuated upwards, half buried in sand, with root-like basis, exposed part pale brown, pruinose-siriate; hollow. Flesh thin, white with yellow-brown hue. Taste and smell indistinct. Spore print light rust-brown.
     Spores (8-) 9-12 (-13.2) x 6-8.5 (-9) um, Ls = 10.5 +/- 1.35 um, B = 7.6 +/- 0.95 um, Q = 13-1.5, av. Q = 1.38 +/- 0.08, n = 20; short-elliptic in face-view, elliptic and slightly flattened in profile, fairly thick-walled, pale-brown in water, rust-brown in alkali, germ-pore large, up to 2.5 um broad. Basidia 14-19 « 7-9 um, 2-spored, clavate. Marginal cystidia lecythiform, 17-23 x  6-7 um, head 3-5 um broad. Facial cystidia absent. Cap-cuticle made up of pyriform and sphaeropedunculate cells12-23 um broad. Stem-cuticle consisting of parallel, filamentous hyphae covered with a mixture of clavate, cylindrical and lageniform caulocystidia 12-22 x 4.5-7 um and long flexuous, filamentous hairs of up to 2 um broad. Veil absent. Clamp connections present.
Habitat and distribution. Onsand among Artemisia sp. on sandy riverterrace partly planted with Pinus sylvestris.
